  • Biologist Liz Bonnin explores why some of the most bizarre and surprising animals pair up with each other and with us. She scours the globe in search of the most extraordinary and cute animal relationships, investigating why such odd couples sometimes form. From dogs mothering baby tigers and polar bears befriending huskies, to buffaloes bonding with grown men and lions behaving like our brothers. In this episode, Liz will look at the most incredible friendships between humans and some of the most dangerous creatures from around the world, including a polar bear, lions and a pack of hyenas.

i have heard this does NOT!!! work with chimpanzees as they go berserk when they reach puberty something to do with hormones
and they are incapable of any kind of communication where as a gorilla can be taught to use sign language
case and point koko the gorilla met robin william . tnen when he died the gorilla grieved just like a human would

39:23 - Talk about a bull in a china shop (literally). There's definitely some sort of understanding between that guy and that buffalo.😉 I worked with cows for a long time, and I've never seen anything like that.😁 EDIT: That thing near the end with the dolphins.. they're actually playing 'herd dogs' and herding the mullet toward the fishermen, and then signalling when they have them in position! Freaking brilliant!😮😁👍

Technically there is no such thing as a domesticated or tame cat. People really don't understand much about cats.
