People might ask why Trevor didn't renovate his grans house... Yall should know something about our African grannies. They been through a lot and everything in the house has a story behind. You can't even move a thing... They just wanna be there with everything.... ✊🏾

  • Micah Blalock  (Jan 3, 2019))

So refreshing... I love that you're so grounded, Trevor! From the start of the video, it was clear that your grandmother was more important to you than the audience... Thank you for modeling for us what it looks like to truly love and honor one's family. I celebrate your success, and am thankful that you shared this moment with me.

+tramsfetz welp, scurry over to those videos. 😂😂😂✌✌✌✌

  • tramsfetz  (6 days ago))

Amelia Louisa Yeah, i do now it is comedy. I also know the Argument you re trying to make, it doesn't work in this context. I like segments where hosts go abroad (colbert Russia, Conan isreal, Gaza, Finnland,....) I just didn't think this one was funny, or professional, for the reasons i already stated. Also comedy needs to be professional, there is a reason this is unprecedented, you just don't do it.Also: you should be the one chilling.

Sam Bee He has said before in interviews that he offered and she doesn’t want an indoor toilet/new home because that’s where she raised her kids and has memories.

  • Sam Bee  (2 days ago))

Trevor u earning a lot of money...Buy your grandma a new house or build a in house toilet for her 😅

  • Toni king  (Dec 3, 2018))

to the people asking why he doesn't buy her a house, you'll find that she is the one who doesn't want to move. I'm sure he has offered, but for some old people, especially old black people here in SA are set in their ways, they feel what they have is enough and success is watching their children prosper not moving in to a mansion. My gran is the same, you can never make her leave that house and don't you dare try and change it lol.

  • Thang Le  (Feb 14, 2019))

In a capitalistic, consumer-driven society we equate buying to happiness. Thus, we think oh let me buy my family this mansion and they will be happy and I will not feel guilty for not being around them at all. This mindset is so ingrained in us that when we reach success we have to go and buy something. When we are exposed to other culture who has little in ways of material things in contrast to us but they're genuinely happy, we are truly shocked and have an existential crisis.

  • Queen Bluntress  (Feb 13, 2019))

people act like he is a billionaire cause he is on tv. he is probably living very modest himself

  • Wieme Mo  (Jan 4, 2019))

  • ralton damons  (Feb 14, 2019))

Yip, humor is a defence mechanism used while growing up during apartheid

  • RG Fleuridor  (Feb 11, 2019))

I feel like black people are just funny...she reminds me of my Haitian grandma

  • Trevor Khaba  (Jan 18, 2019))

He is saying koko which means knock knock and then he says hello gogo which is granny.

  • António Manuel  (9 hours ago))

In my homeland Cabinda (Angola) koko has the same meaning in "fiote" (our local language). It's like "Is anyone there?".

  • Theresa Taylor  (Jan 28, 2019))

Oh what a blessing to have your grandmother at 91 and 9 months. She is so beautiful.

  • BreeBrii  (Jan 28, 2019))

Obviously I don't know him personally, but Trevor seems like such a beautiful person.
