Interesting that Beverley averaged more than 40ppg in Chicago Public League (one of the toughest HS leagues n the country), so he knows how to stop a scorer. He was one himself.

He's speaking very simple everyday language, but the issue is his nasally way of speaking through his nose.

Of course Russell Westbrook is right about Patrick Beverley TRICKING EVERYBODY on defense. Historically Patrick Beverley has been REPEATEDLY LIT UP, opponents love to score on him because of his SLOW REFLEXES and LACK OF VIDEO SCOUTING. I even saw live a horrible defensive display from Beverley where the slow Kendall Marshall of the Suns jacked Beverley around the court with basic head fakes that even 6th graders don’t fall for - and Marshall had double figures scoring that game. Even when Beverley “won” All NBA 2nd team defense, his defensive numbers weren’t even the best at his position on the Rockets. I have always considered Patrick Beverley a MAJOR DEFENSIVE LIABILITY and though the press doesn’t agree with me, opponents and stat sheets certainly do.

How does the rockets/harden's play style work when it's continued to fail in the playoffs? And it will fail again this year lol

I have a problem with them hyping up Harden like they are. Yes he is a scoring machine....but he is wildly inefficient to get those numbers. He was pretty good this game but just a game back he was 16/41 against the twolves.

He shouldn't be shooting that much in a game. 19-24 shots is plenty for them to win. They got the talent to win it all but only if Harden becomes a passer as well and finds a middle ground in his shooting attempts and starts passing more like in this particular game against the Blazers

No harden doesn't have to shoot as much as he does to win... Westbrook is there, other talent ...otherwise they will fall come playoff time.
