  • I bought this 2015 Chevy Silverado from the auction. It was a third party sale and I could see some quick fix and flip work so I knew I might have some hidden damage but I was not expecting to find everything I did. • Doctoring a wrecked vehicle to make it appear less wrecked for an auction should be illegal wtf who does that crap?

  • MOTOR SALVAGE  2 months ago

load of rubbish, how do yo know the car was "doctored"? every one has there own standards of repair, its just like saying any car which isnt repaired to manufacturers standard that should be made illegal. I dont agree with airbags being bodgered but again how to do you that one was happy with fitting airbag covers or resistors!!!! if you buy from pictures without viewin then thats your own risk, nothing wrong with auctions they can only do so much and copart easily clearing 1million cars e...

Still looks better than the 2020 Chevy HD Pickup.

Here it is apparently 5 months later and I must say that the actual trucks look better live than the pictures of the 2020 pickups. I see several brand new 2020 Chevy pickups every day on the road. They do look pretty sharp imho. I'd say I have seen more new Chevrolets than the new Dodges on the road. I think it will grow on people who don't like them. I think because it's so different than the previous models that it takes some getting used to.

Sadly, I have to agree. Looks like I will be rocking the 2014-2019 body style until the next make over at least.

We all make mistakes. I believe you can do it.

  • vehcor  9 months ago

Yes, we do. Thank you for the vote of confidence!

  • Now that's what i call a TOTALED VEHICLE !

  • vehcor  6 months ago

Yes, it qualifies as a total, unlike some that shops just run from for no reason.

I would love to have 1/10th of the knowledge needed to tackle a project like that. I can fix lots of stuff but I don't know jack about body work.

This shit was totaled for a reason, the frame being that bad is always a bad sign.

  • vehcor  8 months ago

Actually the size of the project is what deters people. It is really just a matter of changing parts. It can be broken down into smaller jobs to make it easier. Hopefully that will make a little more sense once the series is complete. Thanks for watching.

Thanks, you can always learn from others. Even people with no experience can have a better way. It is the reason I am willing to listen to anyone that has an idea. Thanks for the support!
