  • Conservative leadership candidate Esther McVey is hosting her first radio show as Theresa May announces her resignation as Prime Minister.

Esther is asking do you want the new PM (whoever that may be) to try and strike a new deal or do you think a WTO Brexit is now inevitable?

Ms McVey will be standing in for Jacob Rees-Mogg on Friday at 6pm, talking to listeners. What do you want to say to one of the people who wants to be the next Conservative Party leader?

Esther McVey look at your record to date as a politician...absolute rubbish and a waste of time! Don't come in to present LBC as I will switch it off every time you show up. Wicked, wicked and wicked to welfare recipients who were dying...you did not care! You failed as a politician, you will fail as PM. Go away.

She's wrong when answering at 21:23 in saying that Theresa May could have just taken Britain out of the EU on March 29 without a deal. The Yvette Cooper bill not only required the PM to seek an extension, but also gave parliament the legal power to amend any date the PM agreed to. So had Theresa May turned down the EU's offer of extending to April 12 (thus implicitly only agreeing to the original date of March 29), parliament would almost certainly have overridden this decision due the decisive majority there against No Deal, requiring the PM to amend her decision and accept the EU offer after all. Theresa May saved herself from this ignominy by accepting the extension in the first place.

We ruddy well better take the fight to the EU in October. The government allowed the EU to present the withdrawal 'treaty' as an aggressive "Sign here or get nothing" thing, because it effectively straight-jacketted the UK into powerful control by Brussels. This was done via complicit civil service goons - picked by our useless PM, and who have a lot to lose by us leaving. They have overridden the proper use of negotiation which has to start with a HARD ball. On Oct 31st all top civil servants should have to re-apply for their jobs, so that we do get the workforce who will not collude with Remain to wreck the process of our leaving, as we make new emmergency deals with the EU to allow normal trade to continue. The current suspect contingent are just not suitable. For example, Oily Wobbins should go, as one of the architects of the failure of May's Number 10 based 'negotiations' (if we can call them that).

Esther is most viable and worthwhile Brexiteer to succeed May. All the rest are compromised supporters of the stinking, rotted vile May-trailing brown noses who followed her.

God help us if this nobody, without a spark of charisma, a drab uninteresting voice and inability to even look at the camera whilst introducing herself and the topics, gets anywhere near being PM.

This country will not leave the E.U. It doesn't matter who is the Prime Minister. Bring the government down if Brexiteers are insistent on a no-deal Brexit! We will have a general election. Bring Labour into power! No Brexit! 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠

Conservatives are finished even now you cant sort yourselves out and have potential leaders backing one policy. Instead you talk of hanging the person delivering brexit on WTO. So fine put someone in like you, deliver it and let them vote you out, they will face hell on earth.
