  • Bear hides have been designed as a last resort, in order to keep the bears out in their natural habitat. Until then, they came down to our houses regularly, crashed our off-road vehicles, broke off the doors, went into the house, and one time a bear was 3 meters away from my son in broad day-light, in our yard!It was then that we realise we had to do something because we kept complaining everywhere in vain, and nothing was done to resolve this dangerous situation. So, we started to feed wild animals intensively on our own property, hoping that bears would go there instead of our houses. And, low and behold, they did, and ever since then there is no more meddling, no more damages. We have developed this to the point where you can also have an insight into wildlife, even if you can not participate in a wildlife watching program yourself.🐻 Watch our 24/7 live stream: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg2o...🐻 Would you like to visit our brown bear watching hides? What a beautiful place! Looks so peaceful! Amazing how the animals described in the video where saw eating together, and it never bothered them. This is really educational. Amazing that people took the time to care about the well-being of the animals, and also the fact they were interested in taking control of a problem with the bears, and cared enough, and just were able to set-up a cameras. Not everyday people get to see this in real-life, unless they go to a zoo, or maybe if they travel, and get lucky. Respecting habitats, and animals space is so important, and giving them the space they need. So neat they made this public, and invited others to view the animals, and shared a learning opportunity.

So glad I watched that! Understanding more of the back story... I think it’s great what Zsolt and his son are doing here... not interfering, but still, protecting people and property while keeping wildlife fed(safely!!) enough to stay in their natural habitat. And as bonus, people everywhere can observe!
I especially love the fact about the fox and bear... very interesting that they kind of team up! Who knew?? ( not me🙂)
Keep up this wonderful and important work, and I’ll keep you and all the animals in my daily prayers that no harm from ill intentioned people or visitors should come to this special sanctuary.
