The trouble is they don’t have a shared vision of what “complete denuclearization” looks like. And while handshakes were exchanged and agreements were signed after unprecedented talks in Singapore, no country with a nuclear program as advanced as North Korea's has ever denuclearized. Read more about the agreement that President Trump struck with Kim Jong Un and why, despite being a historic moment, it appears to be a "shockingly weak deal" for the US: http://bit.ly/2ybJB5M

Fun fact! South Africa is the only country in history to give up their own nuclear weapons. I'd love to see a Vox video on that, as there are some parallels with North Korea.

"I may stand before you in 6 months and say: Hey I was wrong."
Huge cred to Trump for being honest this time.

If it means what I think it means, then it means the reptilan food supply has been cut short. Keep asking questions.

Although you said I might seem ridiculous but I'm an optimist and I hope that this will be the start of something truly spectacular

The big thing that confuses me is that everyone is giving Trump a giant standing ovation for being so brave and great. Now, I won't undermine the historic president this whole ordeal serves as, but it's not to say that North Korea has been asking to meet with American presidents and diplomats since the early 90's. Hell, most people don't remember or even know that Bill Clinton went to North Korea during his presidency! North Korea has been trying to lift sanctions with the West and also protect themselves. It's a double edged sword.
Now it's great to see North Korea doing a lot more to get out of their shell; however, it's not to say that "All other presidents before Trump were spineless". North Korea does this. They'll wave their sword around, then deescalate it, and have the west relieve sanctions on them. Saber randling.

The fact that this is happened so fast from start to the summit makes me very cautious about what both sides are trying to do behind the scenes.

  • Make The Lakers Great Again

Not a trump fan but gotta give him credit on this one. Obama and the former presidents didn’t do anything like this. So happy for all the Koreans! It’s time for peace!

tbh the US getting it's troops out of South Korea sound like a good thing to do. Puts the nation on the path of reunification.
