Non-super teams: Dallas Mavericks 2008; Detroit Pistons 2004; Raptors 2019; arguably Golden State Warriors, 2015.

Superteams are a part of the NBA. If they are dead. They are only dead temporarily until the next superteam.

Injuries ended the Warriors reign. There have been super teams in the nba in every decade since it started. Much easier to pick out non super teams that won rings. But, even those teams had multiple future hall of famers.

The dust settles and everyone is happy about parity and dynamic duos.
    Warriors: What? Hold my spritzer.
Woj: Warriors just received D'lo in a sign and trade, he is no KD but that is a big three or 4.
    Sixers: What? Hold my cheesesteak.
Woj: Sixers just signed Horford and signed and traded Butler for Richardson

Until small market teams can legitimately compete for championships and steal big market stars, can you really say that the NBA has parity?

Stop giving Kawhi so much credit. The super team era ended because DURANT left GS otherwise GSW would be winning the finals for the next 3-4 years! This dude has no idea what he's saying!

The idea of a "Big 3" will never go away and will always work... Temporarily a few superteams have lost momentum, but they shall return time and time again.
