Purely talking influence in sports here but wouldn't that go to a soccer coach?

If one coach can cause a total shift of tactics to happen in the most popular sport in the world that title goes to him.

Be it "complete football" of the Netherlands or "Tica taca" of Barcelona etc.

If not this it would probably go to a person playing a 1v1 game like Mohammed Ali or something.

No Max, football players like Messie, and Neymar are more influential in the world, and so is Manny Packiou, LeBron may be the most influential in American, not the world

LBJ would have been a much bigger part of our culture if mainstream sports networks didn't force feed him to us as the next Jordan since he was 18 years old.

Why did Stephen A only reel off the names of black athletes at the start? The question was about ALL athletes

Jim Brown??? Now I understand that he was a great African American player during times where racism was a huge thing ( it still is) but you know what I mean. The man has been arrested for assault an 18 year old in 1965 when he just finished playing, in 1968 he was charged with assault with intent to commit murder. No disrespect to Jim Brown and his greatness on the football field but he is not more influential than LeBron.

Tiger woods more influential more than LeBron???what?? I understand that he was ONE of the the first African American golfers and a great golfer but the man has been caught with 2 DUI’s and has multiple cheating scandals with women. Come on man!!! That skies it up already. U never hear LeBron on the news about cheating or dui. He’s had the same wife since high school and has maintained his kids. This man has opened up a SCHOOL for kids at risk. I don’t think y’all understand the gratitude of that!! The ONLY athletes that I would say are more influential than LeBron is Muhammad Ali and Jackie Robinson, that’s it!!
Most influential athletes ever: Muhammad Ali, Jackie Robinson, LeBron James

Lebron may have the most influence in history. He would not be the most influential.
The global stage is much bigger now.
