I don't think Klobuchar's gonna get far. She's super weak, because she's too centrist, and if these stories are true, that's worker abuse, hands down, and I think Jamie's right, voters who are workers are gonna to say, "Thanks, but no thanks."

  • schultzn1  5 months ago

Thank you so much for your comments about Klobuchar. I wouldn’t find this behavior acceptable if I’d learned that a man treated his staff this way, she’s not getting a pass just because she’s a woman. While not entirely disqualifying, it does give me pause. 🤔

MR is at it best when the arguments organically step to the knife's edge haha

It was rather amusing Michael getting upset on the behalf of the caller. Michael does treat his paying members differently in a way Sam has never

  • ufster81  5 months ago

@Jordan Press I don't think this is an issue about that. This sort of debate goes on in software development for decades, both parties want the same result but have different methods of reaching that goal and both methods have valid benefits and detriments. Michael is like the clean code guy, insists that in order for the grand project to be sustainable and effecient on the long run, the code must be clean and certain protocols must be applied to the t and this is a philosophical debate on the opposit...

  • ufster81  5 months ago

@Adeem Sadiq I disagree, it's not like he wouldn't be ideologically sympathetic towards entertaining the notion of nationalizing some of these tech giants, anyway so him siding with the caller could be attributed to that just as easily. As to the applicability of the premise, BBC was a reasonable example that he gave. It's not impossible or even impractical for government to run such a corporation, but the real question is the difference of degree of pragmatism between the two choices if you only see m...

Competition is a myth, sooner or later somebody wins and that's the end of competition.

If you can't beat the competition, buy them out. And monopolize the predatory marketplace.

@American Fuel TV You have a lot to learn about why god gave humans instincts. If I was content, the world would be run over by the distruction of greed . It wasn't here in America until the western sickness came over with the Europeans with this and other diseases. It is always a paradox how people expand and explore to "get away from it all", but bring it with them everywhere they go, Sick. DIS-EASE. You must be a disciple of Ayn Rand?

@Mark Cross That's not an argument, you just sound like a malcontent.Like most leftists.
