    "people back then thought we would wear plastic in the future!" but... we do?
    so many of our clothes are polyester, (poly)acrylic and elastane. we just managed to make soft so it feels like natural fabric. they predicted that well, especially bc they knew plastic is cheap. so yeah, they got it right.
