Attention Hollywood, when you take classics and modernize them your essentially removing whatever made the original good.

This updated version of Pet Semetary better be a whole lot better than the 1989 version. That movie was flawless and they shouldn't just make updates on Stephen King's movies just because Stephen King's It got so popular. Not only that, but a lot of 80s movies deserve to be untouched.

Good book but Salem's Lot was the one that damaged me. To this day if a tree limb hits my window at night, I think of that book.

Just watched the original 1989 version again last night and it still stands up to the test of time ... doesn't really look dated. This trailer contains shots that look like almost total copies of shots from the original so what's the point?

Create something new Hollywood. Man being a writer in Hollywood has got to be the easiest job out there. You don't even have to try and people eat this shit up.......

Shot for shot remake of the original with terrible color-grading. No reason for this to exist!

Hmph. I want to be hopeful, but a man's heart is stonier, and you keep what you buy. With some of those shots at the end, I'm not buying this yet.

Before ANYone criticizes the casting choice of Lithgow, I strongly encourage you to watch Raising Cain (1992).

Why remake this? Would it kill someone to make something new? Or just leave good movies alone.

Wtf?! A remake of the classic original..... NO WAY! This looks utterly terrible. Nothing can replace the original pet semetary of 1989.
