If Boris is going to have a early autumn general election and say it’s for 10 October 2019,,and brexit party wins with Nigel farage as prime minister ,could change everything could bring the leaving dat to 15 of October shaking Europe, and joining the common wealth nations in trading we are all ready in it our queen Leeds it,what a party we could have then none of the migrants and immigrants would stay because they want to stay in Europe with eu laws we would have everything back as brexit referendum asked for our country back ,it all fits in ,

I do wish LBC would get in synch! Everytime I watch a podcast, the lips don't match the sound. Good job I'm usually doing something else too.

56:00 To the last caller who tried to make a sarcastic point about Boris Johnson - the foreign secretary in January 2016 who appointed Sir Kim Darroch was Phillip Hammond - what a bloody surprise (irony intended). It took me 20 seconds to google this mate, do your homework more thoroughly.

One less swamp creature, he quit today.
He served in a number of posts, including as desk officer for the Channel Tunnel project and co-secretary of the UK-French Channel Tunnel Treaty Group, as private secretary to David Mellor and then The Lord Glenarthur as the FCO's Minister of State from 1987 to 1989, and as Counsellor for External Affairs at the British Permanent Representative to the European Union for a year before being promoted to Director as head of the FCO's press office in 1998.

In 2000, Darroch moved back to policy work as Director of EU Comd, and in 2003 promoted further to be Director-General, Europe. In 2004, he transferred to 10 Downing Street, as Head of the Cabinet Office European Secretariat, where he served as the Prime Minister's principal advisor on European affairs. After three years, Darroch was appointed to replace Sir John Grant in Brussels, as British Permanent Representative to the European Union in 2007 for a four-year.

It increasingly looks as if the so-called "deep state" are going down - on both sides of the pond - and an element of panic is emerging.........

Trumps replies to this Ambassador were top draw, slagging of May and basically saying " Hey your man says this nasty stuff about me, but look in a mirror. Because it applies to you more than me".

Yes he should be fired, he is of no use to anyone if he is being cut out of Trump administration completely! He should realise nothing is safe from hacking and leaking these days. And keep his stupid mouth shut! I think Nigel would make a good prime minister, I dont know about ambassador?
