  • My cheap salvage auction Audi R8 had one flaw, and that's a cracked front frame and an estimated repair cost of almost $30,000. We fix it now for way cheaper than any body shop would have. Thanks to Vtuned: https://goo.gl/mvyFZnInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/samcracc/Email Me: [email protected]: SamcracPO Box 713Odessa, FL 33556

Check the lights for cracks too in case you need to replace the blinker fluid.

To all the blowhards pontificating on how dangerous this is. Shut the pie hole. It's a coilover mount. If it fails, the suspension simply drops to the bump stops, and stays there. It's really no big deal. Now if he was messing with an upper or lower control arm mounting points, then you'd be rightly concerned. But it isnt. The weld is fairly well done, and doublers welded in for good measure. It'll be fine, don't get your internet panties in such a wad.

@Alex Grant What degree do you hold, that says this isn't stronger than the factory design? I worked in a field where we constantly had to modify (for the better) some engineers design that to him on paper worked. Yet in a production mode failed constantly. From the looks of it, he made it much stronger than the factories.

I know right. These PPls comments make me wonder(even More) about the kind of people in the world. Seems most folks may just be mad they didn't buy it or they bought one full price.
