I really like USB-C, and my computer and tablet use it. It's the way forward for high-power devices. Even after all these years, I plug in USB-A cables the wrong way round. However, all my low-powered devices that don't necessarily need to talk to the computer go on a mains charging block with four USB-A ports and one Power Delivery. It's much harder to make a case for all of those needing the PD port, and the ideal for me with the Kindle would be for Amazon to switch to type-C at the device end (because micro-B is the single hardest one to orient because of the size and lack of standardisation) and type A at the charging end to go on the mains charger.
USB C is just gonna become the norm for phone chargers and stuff USB did before C. It won't become the standard for how we wire tech.
2019 is ending soon and yet not many companies make good USB-C stuff

im looking at this in 2019, and now most things are usb-c. and like battery banks and stuff you mentioned now also use usb-c. its cool to see how much has changed in two years

Thunderbolt 2 is still faster. Intel and Apple should be pushing Speed for Thunderbolt 2 Drives.

Bro its 2019, there still isn't USB-C in everything, kinda laughable
I’m glad everyone is moving over to USB-C. Even The iPad Pro uses that connector. I just wish they didn’t cling on to Lightning connector for this long with the rest of their iPads and the iPhones.
The fact that Logi didn't put USB-C on the MX Master 2 was really sad, a world where you only need 1 cable for everything would be awesome
