To everyone who's upset that in the movie Venom himself says he's not a parasite, ask yourself this:Would a parasite BE HONEST and SAY he's a parasite? Just sayin'...

  • Zap Craftihoof  (Mar 8, 2019))

I think he's just offended by the phrase because Parasites are often known 2 kill, whether it be from a human, an animal, a plant, or a computer, parasites can often kill so being called 1 is probably a huge insult 2 Venom

  • Artez Lacson  (Mar 2, 2019))

Are you a parasite trying to get views hmm 😂

6:52 funny you mention Deadpool, I'm pretty sure there's an origin comic that says Deadpool was the first thing to fuse with Venom before it met Spider-Man which is why people who fused with Venom endure psychosis because Venom absorbed a little bit of Deadpool's insanity.

  • There is, Avengers Secret Wars

  • AbiDiscussions  (Mar 6, 2019))

    Yeh I saw it

  • notsae66  (Nov 8, 2018))

I remember reading somewhere that the reason Venom turned into a vilian was Peter rejecting him. Venom sort of loved Peter and was still in the process of bonding with him, the rejection confused and angered it while the broken bind messed with its head. This explains why Venom will so eagerly betray its hosts if it thinks Peter will take it back.

  • Pointbreak2611  (Nov 10, 2018))

It’s also canon that over the years of not killing celestials that they evolved to bond with usually warm blooded bipedal/humanoid hosts, and that they changed in size and shape to bond better with these hosts as well as learning the tongues of these civilisations to help communicate better, the symbiote doesn’t need nutrients in the form of eating people it just does it so it has a stockpile of human cells to repair the host with, eg when Eddie got impaled after venom ran away in fear he patched his w...

  • Garrett Engell  (Mar 19, 2019))

“We”? Do you have a symbiote bonded to you?

  • GuessWho195  (Feb 21, 2019))

+Overlandlord In the Venom movie, the only symbiote truly shown to be "evil" is Riot (the other symbiotes we see may kill people, but in their defence they are being forced into incompatible hosts and can't help it) who, in the comics, is of Venom's bloodline. Their relationship may not be acknowledged in the film, but Pointbreak's argument still technically stands (in that specific regard anyway)
