Honestly, and I love you, but a lot of time I feel as though the smoothing effect of your camera makes it difficult to see what you are seeing. To me the foundation looked really pretty and I wasn't really seeing the separation/patchiness. Certainly not meaning to criticize or accuse, just the perspective of one viewer. Thanks for another honest review!

  • Shiloh Vance  (Feb 11, 2019))

Am I the only one who does not understand why they didn’t design the bottle to dispense the right amount with one pump instead of saying to use half a pump?

  • nina jordan  (Feb 14, 2019))

because they want you to go through it as fast as possible so you repurchase.

  • Caroline  (Feb 13, 2019))

Gréta Varga yes and you’ll probably pump out more than a half, not use everything on your hand/palette and then run out of the foundation faster

  • Lyssa Diane  (Feb 11, 2019))

How is it that when Tati reviews other products like foundation or eyeshadow and uses primer, everyone asks if she’d do it without primer but then she reviews this product that SPECIFICALLY says to NOT prime, everyone flips out and asks her to put on primer? I agree that perhaps it would be better if these reviews were half-and-half (half primer, half bare) but I’ve seen like 5 videos on this foundation where some primed and some don’t, used a beauty sponge, used half a pump and all of them don’t reall...

  • evolutionofj J  (Mar 24, 2019))

OKay you answered my question about prime, I was just going to look for other vids but now I feel like I don't need to haha, I have been dying to try hourglass, but I know now I can just start and stay with the stick. I LOVE LOVE the tones!! the colors are really gorgeous, thanks for this comment!!

  • Musslima Ibraimo  (Mar 6, 2019))

To everyone saying that Tati is inconsistent on following instructions, there are a few more videos of her trying foundations without primer. And some were really good. And let’s all remember here, that she has combination skin leaning to dry and she mentioned that this foundation might work better on oily skin. The foundation didn’t work for her and that fine guys 🤷🏼‍♀️

  • Geraldine Bareng  (Feb 12, 2019))

Doesn’t follow the directions for the Dyson review: People get mad. Follows the directions for the Hourglass foundation: People get mad. You just can’t win. Ever.

  • Katie Danielle  (Feb 20, 2019))

But she didn't.... she used like three pumps instead of a half.

  • PSB  (Feb 11, 2019))

Reading the comments and people are coming in hard at Tati for not using a primer. She’s using the foundation the way it was advertised: no primer needed. It didn’t perform well for her and that’s her opinion/experience with it. Honestly, I would be as critical as her if I just spent $57.

  • Gabrielle Hayes  (Apr 8, 2019))

I think the issue regarding primer is that in every other video she says she wants to give products their best shot and ALWAYS uses primer, regardless of their recommendations. She was using this product as advertised, however I don’t think she should turn her nose up to trying it one more time with her favorite primer

  • Just Lisa  (Feb 12, 2019))

PSB, especially the $57 part! Honestly, I don’t understand how a foundation can be good for everyone from oily to dry. It literally doesn’t make sense. Mid to oily or mid to dry, yeah, but not the full range. Someone is getting shafted.

  • YouFoundHeidi  (Feb 11, 2019))

Fun story. I drive for Uber, and picked up a rep for Hourglass. She was in town to train the employees in the stores on how to use the new liquid foundation because "the beauty community is doing it wrong, and then saying it's a bad product". She said that it's meant to be used with a beauty blender because brushes can micro-exfoliate the skin and put the highly pigmented product in, which makes it look bad. She also said that since it is a highly pigmented product that 1/2 a pump is all that...

  • Crystal Kha  (Feb 13, 2019))

the first time i saw a review on this product, i definitely felt like this foundation should be used with a sponge!

  • Kati Nicole  (Feb 11, 2019))

That’s kind of a good idea. If you make a product that spreads well then ideally it should take less time and less product while giving customizable coverage. I work with brand reps all the time and the information they give is so valuable!

  • Heather Williams  (Feb 12, 2019))

THE TRUTH IS.. it’s 2019! She shouldn’t have to baby a foundation just to make it work. There are drugstore options that Tati looks beautiful in that are way more cooperative than this foundation. I’ve seen reviews use half a pump and they literally couldn’t spread it across their face from it drying so fast. I’ve seen reviews that used more, I’ve seen reviews without a primer, with a primer, with a facial oil, with a brush, with a sponge.. it’s just not a great foundation!

  • Nika Maq  (Mar 9, 2019))

    Heather Williams amen 🙏👏🏻

  • Bellziee  (Feb 11, 2019))

So you guys are getting mad because she "didnt follow the instructions" by only using half a pump, but where do you see her adding three pumps? I only saw her do that first pump on the pallet and then work off that for the rest of the time she was applying. No where did she say "I'm adding 2 more pumps" nor do you see her putting 2 more pumps on. All you see is her buffing and blending for a long time. Also you guys cant get mad at her for "not following instructions" then...

  • AnnaLiisa  (Feb 13, 2019))

+Anika Evanson Tati said "I used almost one full pump for my full face & neck... I worked off a palette with a total of 3 light dips into the product - that's it... all the blending you see is just me blending not adding more more!" ...so less than 1 pump and half for her neck. So what you saw her put 2 pumps. Doesn't mean she used it all. And why the big deal anyway. Who cares!

  • Fenneke Pommer  (Feb 13, 2019))

    Yes!!

  • Gaby Garcia  (Feb 11, 2019))

I don’t understand why people get so offended when your opinion doesn’t fall in line with theirs. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

  • CuriousKid Chanel  (Mar 16, 2019))

    The world problem nowadays.

  • Candie Summers  (Feb 18, 2019))

    Omg THANK YOU!!!

  • Katrina Doerr  (Feb 11, 2019))

I wish your ur camera wasn’t so blurring cause I don’t know what you’re talking about it being horrible lol it looks smooth to me lol
