Reminder: If you put anything else in your grilled cheese other than cheese, it’s no longer a grilled cheese.

  • Shelby Taylor  1 months ago

Condiments don't count. I wouldn't call grilled cheese with whole grain mustard anything but a grilled cheese.

David W no a quesadilla is a Mexican grilled cheese

"If I had to guess why I'd say it's to add a little more butteryness." Well yeah I guess that makes sense

  • Tony White  5 months ago

@ToDD HeaDD that's exactly what I thought. Make it crispy all over.

  • ToDD HeaDD  9 months ago

The additional butter actually helps the equal browning of the bread.

Ever try toasting both sides of the bread before adding the cheese? Changed my life

  • SketchBoard  3 months ago

Before this video, I honestly thought that was the only way to make grill cheese.

  • tshred666  3 months ago

Joey Ackley when you do it right it makes the cheese melt faster and the bread much crisper. Do it wrong and you either burn the sandwich or it becomes soggy from too much butter
