Our daily podcast, Today Explained, tackled the royal wedding. It's a cynic's guide to the event. Listen here: http://bit.ly/2IzaK3o

"No one cares!" He said after he clicked on the video to write a comment to let everybody know even though he obviously didn't care

Vox videos are always interesting. They can make a video about watching paint dry and I'd watch it and take notes.

It’s a little sad when I saw Diane’s footage. But I’m happy for her sons finally found their significant others.

Correction: at 0:32 the building pictured is mistakenly identified as Westminster Cathedral, when it is in fact Westminster Abbey. We're working on updating the video now!

Don’t let them confuse you - none of us actually care about the royals.
We all just want the day off.

Americans are so obsessed with this but in England we don't actually care lol, the only reason we'll care is because there will be a party in London.

99% of the comments- I'm so hip and cool because I think that it is a gigantic waste of money, that the royal family isn't needed and because I don't care about it even though I'm British. Also, people are sheep, and I dunno why Americans are OBSESSED with this...grumble...grumble...tax-payers money...overrated...BRING BACK BACK EQUALITY... Great video though!
1% of the comments- OMG IT'S THE ROYAL WEDDING!!!!

"Who cares?" he says knowing at the back of his mind that he will probably tune in with his whole family to watch it.

It has already been confirmed that they will not be having a fruit cake. Sounds silly to even care about this, but facts are facts.

The comments are sad and ignorant. For those who say that the royals are unneeded and should be abolished don't know that they are basically just a symbol now. They dont have any power in court or government, and if they do. Its very tiny. This is just tradition. Its just the media blowing up the wedding, but I bet, and its quite obvious, that prince harry and megan markle just want a regular wedding but they cant ignore long time traditions due to prince harry's bloodline. So before all of you people start demeaning a tradition , think if a royal family in asia or africa would be treated poorly if they were to hold a grand wedding. All this talk about equality to all people but people in the internet are so ready to jump in the 'they're powerful and white' hate bandwagon. Its racial profiling. And No, im not defending white people. Im defending PEOPLE. Doesnt matter what colour they are.
