Ride out the storm!!!? Does anyone ever listen to official warnings?!!😲

  • David King  (Jan 29, 2019))

Some of us didn't have time or a place to have gone. I rode it out in my home in Springfield. I was lucky. Trees went down everywhere on my property except on my house. Lost some shingles and some fascia board. My truck was not so lucky.

The problem is the officials say this multiple times every year, they get hysterical sometimes. When it finally is really bad a lot of people don't listen. But another thing about this particular hurricane, it jumped up in intensity really fast. It was a 2 the morning of the day before it hit, then it was a 3 and the night it started rolling in it was a 4, but getting caught on the road is worse than riding it out.

It's going to take a lot of paper towels to clean up that mess.

  • Jake Heke  (Oct 18, 2018))

Our fine black citizens are already helping clean up and relocate merchandise.

+Cassidy Smith Climate change isn't caused by the sun getting hotter moron. It's primarily caused by the trapping of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere which as a result heats up the planet.

  • Memetastic  (Oct 11, 2018))

We need to airdrop some flextape here so that they can fix this whole mess!

yes4me i dont believe that if there is a god he or she would be wanting people to die. In times of emergency people will do what they can do, what they are willing to do and also what they are able to do. Not everyone has a car, they may not have the money to stay somewhere. The shelters they called may have been full. They may have believed it would have been safer where they were. I will not judge someone for soing what they believed was right to protect and save their family in a natural disaster. T...

  • yes4me  (Oct 14, 2018))

If God was responsible for this, then he wanted people to die. These people were not smart to stay.

The intensity of this storm just went from mild to wild in only days. That is insane. And the warmer the climate gets, the more energy these storms will have. In other place rains will be more intense, in other places the droughts longer and hotter.

  • First Last  (Oct 12, 2018))

Guess you are ignorant of all the storms which occurred. This storm was bad, but not Camille bad. Not Andrew bad. Not Labor Day hurricane of 1935 or the Galveston Hurricane. Did 'global warming' cause those?

  • MD  (Oct 11, 2018))

Hurricane did this quick change over night.
