You've got to get them tires hot and sticky, you're not going to ruin them...maybe take a LITTLE life from them but nothing really noticable. Your 60ft. is terrible...should be 1.4-1.6 seconds, also you need to rev it to about 3500rpm then let the clutch slip as you're taking off. I'm not sure if that corvette has a launch control, if so try that out, do not use traction control, it slows you down. It's your first time, so soak up any advice you can get, good job over-all though! Plus shoutout to Nick DEMOLITIA!!

    Another fantastic video guys!!!
I think one of my favorite things about y'all is your ALWAYS positive attitude about trying new things. Your willingness to push yourselves to get better and expand your knowledge of all the things you want to try and learn is an inspiration to many and a light of hope to the older generation like me (I'm 50 btw!👴).
Too many of our youth are falling into the trap of "I want the reward first, then I'll pay later" , but you guys put in the work first and share the rewards with all of us!! 🙏😸
There is a lot of horsepower sitting in your driveway...World-class supercars that each have different characters and performance. By going to the drag strip you can learn to recognize that character and unlock that performance in a controlled and statistical manner (The numbers don't lie! 😀) You'll find where your strengths and weaknesses are, and you're surrounded by many 'veterans' like the gentleman in the Mercedes who will point you in the right direction to improve those things and become better with each pass! Two thumbs up guys!! Great video!!😸

what the mercedes dude is talking about (he called it power shifting) I call it speed shifting. It's a lost art. Never take your foot off the accelerator and shift as fast as to can. Sumthin' I dont care to do in my JKU

Wish it was a quarter mile but still did great your first time out! Just gotta work on that reaction time and getting a good start at the beginning, would love to see yall take the Corvette to a road course and see how it does! And mustang vs challenger, that would be uber rad!

I think you guys started a new tradition! So now every time you finish a build you need to take that car down to the drag strip!
