  • What Would Prevent You From Going Vegan If It both Saved the World & Your Body?Want to save the world, save some money, and live a few years longer than you might otherwise? You can do all three at once by simply going vegan. The single most powerful thing that any American can do to fight global climate change is to stop eating meat and dairy products. It’s also the single most effective way to prevent a heart attack or a stroke, as we’ve learned from people like Bill Clinton who have become vegans after having a heart attack. There are vegan bodybuilders, vegan politicians like Cory Booker, and everyday vegans all across the country who are doing their part to help save this world. Eating meat and dairy not only pollutes the atmosphere and environment, but it also pollutes your body and your mind. Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of age-related dementia, and meat and dairy products speed up the deterioration of your veins and arteries. In every regard, one of the best things you can do for yourself and your life is to become vegan. ➡️Please Subscribe to Our Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/thomhart... I'm a vegan now. But when I first went vegan I craved meat. I missed the taste and the feelings it gave me. Now tho the cravings are gone and I don't really feel the need to eat meat any more.

Thank you for talking about the climate / population issue is rarely talked about anymore. Sometimes I think people just don't want to talk about it because it's depressing. We need to change are behavior if we want to sustain 10 Billion plus people in the immediate future and do it in the least destructive way possible. 👍

I went vegan 4 years ago and I’ve never felt better in my life! I’m also in my early 50s and the only one of my friends and relatives my age that does not take any prescription meds. Nothing feels better than being healthy!

I don't eat meat but do eat 3 eggs a week, butter and a very small amount of cheese about once a month and have eaten that way since the 60s.

Went Vegan 3 yrs ago and it was the best thing I ever did. I hate the thought of my hard earned money financing the torture and systematic killing of innocent animals

I don't eat much meat, but when I go too long, I do not feel good. Maybe 1/3 pound a week. How about birth control? 8 billion are too damn many.

Veganism lasted about 3 months for me - I found it impossible to be satisfied with meals that were totally foreign to those that I had been eating for 40 years. Cereal and OJ for breakfast, plus lunchtime PB and Jam on 12-Grain Bread every day, made me gain 30 pounds in those 3 months! I still have a shelf-load of white, red, and black beans that I cannot bear to eat again.

Bambi raids my garden, Bambi meets my onions, garlic and carrots. In a stewpot. (too poor to buy meat) Go ahead and judge me.

Cattle fed a diet of exclusively kelp (seaweed) causes them to only produce ~5% of the greenhouse gases that they produce when fed traditional cattle feed. This Seaweed cattle diet literally causes 95% of the CO2 & methane to simply not be produced in the first place! We can farm red meat in MANY ways, but it seems we're addicted to the worst possible (cheapest) methods?!? Maybe feed both Homo sapiens & our livestock healthier diets? Given that our livestock+us=90% of the mammals currently walking this Earth. Seaweed is a "super food", rich in antioxidants/vitamins & minerals. These nutrients help neutralize free radicals, which in turn lowers our risk of cancers & MANY other diseases... It just makes sense!

Proud carnivore here, would never compromise my health. Climate change is caused by industrial pollution and maybe making all those weapons y'all love dropping on poor brown folk(never brought up btw as an unspoken climate change contributor). Tackle that first before destroying lives with this suggestion, please. Cholesterol is essential for synapse production also, only found in animal fats.

Since when did Humanity OWN the World. We are the Bacteria that infested Earth and are the cause & effect of what happens. Vegetarian or Vegan what is the difference use the Organic word not one that is created to sound GM.

I tried for 6 months. Eating vegetables in high enough quantity to sustain me completely wrecks my digestion.
