  • We trapped pregnant feral cats Serenity and Nelia so they could give birth somewhere safe for the last time. In the wild, only 25% of kittens survive due to predators, disease, injury, weather and starvation, which is why it's so important to spay and neuter. See updates and links below:UPDATE APR 22: Feral mama Serenity gave birth for the last time to four beautiful kittens: 1) ginger boy: Clover, 2) black boy: Tulip, 3) tabby girl with dramatic eyeliner: Iris, 4) tuxie girl: Tiarella Ninja. So far, kittens are nursing and appear healthy. All palates have passed inspection. :)UPDATE APR 21: Two of Suri's kittens (Snap and Dora) joined Nelia's crew today to see if she will take over their care. (She did, she's a GREAT mama). Suri is another feral mama from the same colony.UPDATE APR 3: Nelia gave birth to four beautiful kittens via emergency c-section - Atlas, Rhea, Gaia and Orion. Sadly, on April 7th, we lost little Gaia due to heart failure. That's funny, especially in view of Bits's name. Guess he learned spitting from his mama. Brave Atlas not in the least intimidated. Little Bits will soon be part of the gang. Sweet creature.

No wonder Bit's hissed; he didn't "enjoy" Atlas chomping on the "family jewels".  My sister's kitten, SPIDER, from back in the day had two sister's who would do that to him.  He was "well endowed" at that age also.

Nelia trilling in the background “ Now you boys play nice in there. Atlas stop biting Bit’s bits be nice to your cousin he’s come to stay” Yes l believe Nelia secretly has a Southern accent as in Gone with the wind southern accent

Reminds me of 2 weeks old Auracuda hissing at the crinkle ball. ❤️ Her tiny hiss was even more ferocious.

I was confused at first because I saw Atlas with a darker tabby than his sister Rhea. Now I see this is one of Suri's kittens, Snap's brother, Bits. Thanks for posting this. Too cute! His hissing is getting no where! His mom probably hisses a lot.
    Thank you Shelly.👍❣💝😘🥰

Suri's babies never seem to be able to get off of their backs when playing with the chonkers. Such sweet little hisses though. Speaking his mind!
