Logan does take place in the Days of Future Past Timeline.Logan said no new mutants had been born in 20 years.2029- 20 years = 2009.Mutants get their powers around 14.they would notice around around 2023 (future in DoFP) that there were no new mutants. So it does take place in the same timeline, they probably just wouldn't know about it until AFTER what we saw at the end of DoFP.Chances are the whole no more mutants and Professor X going crazy thing happens in the months after Logan returns ...

  • Slytherin Forever  (Apr 14, 2019))

He definitely said 25 years. The last mutant was born in 2004. It would still make sense for the school to be running in 2023. As mutants get their abilities between around 8-14. So the effect of their being no new mutants wouldn't be an issue for the school until around 2012-2018. Cause those years would be the ones where the last mutants would be developing their powers. The school is still running in 2023. That makes sense. The issue is that 6 years later by 2029 the mutants should be still alive...

  • CoCo Dogs  (Mar 15, 2019))

Rocket Man never include New mutants that movie will be a total wreck and Deadpool no matter how badass he is pretty much has nothing to do with the timeline

  • Big Lasagne  (Feb 15, 2018))

I swear 90% of the plot holes are because of x men origins wolverene

  • BHowardify  (Mar 16, 2019))

+Neo-Xgray87 Your opinion, I liked the movie as apparently many others did too. Had a good plot, interesting characters and was an overall solid film. I could care less about the writers strike or comic book purism (Terminator Salvation was also pretty decent, wayyy better than Genesys and was another one of them underrated gems). And who said Gambit should sound Cajun anyways? It's there own universe. You should also realize not everyone down there sounds overly twang. Did you nitpick the television ...

  • Neo-Xgray87  (Mar 16, 2019))

+BHowardify Also, the only thing that I wanted to be more comic book-accurate from that movie is Deadpool and nothing else. But, they couldn't even get that character right the first time back in 2009. Thankfully, they got his character right in his own movie. So that's kind of an improvement. But, yeah. The rest of Wolverine Origins is just crap and no! It's not because it isn't faithful to the source material. It's a glorified mess on its' own with very little faith in the film franchise that it was ...

Here’s the actual timeline from the producers and directors confirmed. I will break it all down so no one is confused....hopefully.X-Men: First ClassX-Men Origins: Wolverine X-MenX-Men 2: UnitedX-Men: The Last StandThe Wolverine X-Men: Days of Future PastX-Men: Apocalypse X-Men: Dark Phoenix Deadpool Deadpool 2The New Mutants Logan Ok so the old timeline starts off with First Class all the way to The Wolverine. First a Class is when Magneto and Professor X meet and make the first X-Men ...

  • Itz Cxppu  (Apr 6, 2019))

Elijah Campbell this doesn't make sense how can Logan be after Deadpool 2 when in Deadpool 2 he talks about logans death and don't say 4th wallbreak

  • Devin Roberts  (Mar 7, 2019))

I think the cameo for all the x men in deadpool 2 is purely that, comedic value not actual timeline worthiness. deadpool himself shouldnt even exist within either of the timelines, purely because of the rights held by each studio keep them in separate universes for now, so we can assume mutants do exist in his universe but all the others stuff going in isnt really happening in his universe

  • Michael Long  (May 2, 2017))

How is Wade Wilson not like 60 in Deadpool?

  • Ojaswa Verma  (Mar 30, 2019))

The change in timeline might have caused some ppl to meet their soulmates later ...or altered them in some ways.. So he was born later..maybe??

  • Conn Benn  (Feb 13, 2019))

HorseyBoy yeah so it’s in its own universe. But it has the younger cast so it could be in the 70s. I think they just don’t really give a fuck

  • THOMAS CARTER  (Mar 26, 2017))

Logan does take place in the second timeline. When wolverine says no new mutants have been born in 20 years. Logan takes place in 2029. 20 years before is 2009. Wolverine wakes up in 2023 when most mutants born in 2009 would discover there powers. Also when wolverine mentions the Statue of Liberty and Xavier mentions cage fighting, I think this is referring to dofp when beast explains the quantum physics theory

  • Pierce Smith  (Apr 19, 2017))

THOMAS CARTER It's technically 25 years since a mutant was born.
